Greek hair salon
Ingredients
For 2 people
- 400 gram oven/Airfryer fries
- 250 gram chicken fillet
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Natura Spices Sirtaki mix
- 4 mini cucumbers (or half a regular one)
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 0.5 red onion
- 6 olives
- 2 sprigs curly parsley
- 4 sprigs chives
- 4 tablespoons yoghurt
- 40 gram feta cheese
- 100 gram (pre-sliced) iceberg lettuce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
Preparation
- Bake the fries in the oven or Airfryer according to the instructions on the packaging.
- Meanwhile, cut the chicken fillet into strips and crush the garlic cloves. Mix the chicken with the oil, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, half of the garlic and the Sirtaki spices. Toss well. Let marinate for at least 5 minutes, the longer the better.
- Heat a pan with a little oil and fry the chicken strips until cooked through and golden brown in about 4–5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, slice the cucumber and halve the tomatoes. Cut the onion into thin half rings and slice the olives.
- Chop the parsley and chives finely. Mix them in a bowl with the yoghurt and the other half of the garlic for a homemade garlic sauce.
- Divide the fries over two single-person bowls and season with some salt. Top with the seasoned chicken strips.
- Spread the iceberg lettuce over them, then the cucumber, tomato, red onion, olive and feta. Finish with the garlic sauce and sriracha. Optionally sprinkle some fresh parsley and extra Sirtaki on top.
Tip:
You can also cut your own fries from potatoes or use vegetarian chicken pieces.
