Mediterranean Halloumi Skewers from the Airfryer with Sirtaki Mix
These Mediterranean halloumi skewers are an ideal dish for warm days. The salty, firm halloumi gets a golden-brown crust in the airfryer and pairs perfectly with colorful vegetables and the savory flavor of Natural Spices Sirtaki Mix. Serve them as a light lunch, appetizer or at a summer barbecue.
Ingredients (4 skewers)
- 225 g halloumi
- 1 red bell pepper, in pieces
- 1 small zucchini, halved into slices
- 1 red onion, in wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Natural Spices Sirtaki Mix
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Fresh parsley or mint, finely chopped (optional)
To serve
- Tzatziki
- Pita or flatbread
- Mixed salad
- Lemon wedges
Method
- Cut the halloumi into cubes of about 2 to 3 cm.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil with the Sirtaki Mix and the lemon juice.
- Add the halloumi, bell pepper, zucchini and red onion and toss gently so everything is coated with the spiced oil.
- Thread the ingredients alternately onto metal or soaked wooden skewers.
- Preheat the airfryer to 190 °C.
- Place the skewers in the basket and cook for 10 to 12 minutes. Turn them halfway through for even cooking.
- Optionally sprinkle with fresh parsley or mint and serve immediately.

Tips
- Add cherry tomatoes for extra color and freshness.
- Make it a complete meal with couscous or bulgur.
- Also nice with a drizzle of yogurt and a little lemon zest.
- Use metal skewers if they fit in your airfryer; they are easier to turn.
