Airfryer fruit crumble with Skinny Vanilly
A warm fruit crumble is a dessert that is always a good choice. In this recipe we combine juicy seasonal fruit with Natural Spices Skinny Vanilly, giving you a lovely vanilla flavor without adding much extra sugar. The crunchy crumble of oats and nuts finishes it off. Serve warm with a scoop of (light) vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of Greek yogurt. Ingredients (2-4 people)
For the fruit
- 1 apple, diced
- 1 pear, diced
- 2 plums, halved
- 1 peach, diced
- 100 g berries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tsp Natural Spices Skinny Vanilly
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Optional: 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup if you want the fruit a bit sweeter.

For the crumble
- 75 g oats
- 40 g almonds or pecans, coarsely chopped
- 30 g flour or oat flour
- 35 g cold butter, in cubes
- 1½ tsp Natural Spices Skinny Vanilly
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Preheat the airfryer to 170°C.
- Mix the apple, pear, plums, peach and berries with the Skinny Vanilly and the lemon juice. Spread the fruit in a small baking dish that fits in the airfryer.
- In a bowl mix the oats, chopped nuts, flour, Skinny Vanilly and a pinch of salt. Rub the cold butter in with your fingertips until a coarse crumble forms.
- Evenly distribute the crumble over the fruit.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes at 170°C until the fruit is soft, starts to bubble and the crumble is golden brown and crisp.
- Let the crumble rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

- With a scoop of (light) vanilla ice cream.
- With Greek yogurt or skyr.
- With vanilla quark.
- Sprinkled with extra toasted almonds or pecans.

- Use ripe seasonal fruit for the best flavor.
- Working with frozen berries? You can add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch to absorb excess liquid.
