Tip: Extra flavor, without extra sauce

Want to give the dips a bit more depth, without adding extra sauce? Then you can play with herbs and spices. A nice all-round addition is our Sirtaki Mix: an aromatic herb mix with Mediterranean influences.

A pinch in yogurt-, mayo- or BBQ-dips adds extra flavor and character while keeping the dip light. Especially nice in combination with:

  • the BBQ Dip (warm and spicy)
  • the Garlic- and mayo-like dips (fresh and full)

Frequently asked questions about the Zero Dip Sauce recipes

1. Can I further season the dips?

Certainly. Precisely because the Natural Zero sauces are well balanced, you can easily personalize them. Think of black pepper, chili flakes, smoked paprika powder, garlic powder or onion powder. Small additions immediately give more depth, without needing extra sauce.

2. Which fresh herbs go well with these dips?

Fresh herbs work perfectly in light dips. Chives, parsley, coriander and spring onion add freshness, while thyme or rosemary pair well with BBQ and truffle flavors. Chop the herbs finely and mix them into the dip just before serving.

3. How do I make the dips extra fresh without adding extra sauce?

A few drops of citrus work wonders. Think of lime with teriyakilemon with mayo or truffle dips or a splash of apple cider vinegar in ketchup or BBQ dips. This keeps the dip light but gives it extra zest.

4. Can I prepare the dips in advance?

Yes, all dips can be made in advance and stored covered in the refrigerator. Add fresh herbs, sesame seeds or citrus preferably just before serving for the best flavor and texture.

5. Which herbs pair with which Natural Zero sauce?
